Back to roots........

Let me start by saying that I have seen many ups and downs in my 28 years of life, i learnt more when going was tough than when going was easy.

I left Agra after my 12th in the year 1999 after 18 years since i was born. Then on, i travelled to different places like Lucknow, Allahabad, Aligarh, Hydrabad, Noida, Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai and Chennai. When i was in Agra i wanted to go out and face the world on my own. I use to call Agra as "Aa Gira" so always wanted get up from there and move on to some other place.

On my journeys i learnt many things which education can never teach, that is management of every type, from money to time, from resource to people, from PR to HR. I say this because i am not a MBA, and do not believe in it. I have worked with HCL Technologies BPO services in Noida,  Parsec Loans in Gurgaon and Adventity in Mumbai. All these places were very different from each other but the problems you face there are more or less same.

The very first problem you face is to get an accomodation, and if you are a bachelor then your expirience will be double bitter and if you are muslim then the intensity goes 3 times and if you want to live alone you are in big Q/A session with brokers and landlords. in my case i had all the 4 situations clubed together, so you can not even imagine what i had to go through, to fine a decent accomodation. I really learnt it the hard way.

Then second task ahead of you is to arrange for your fooding which again is a trouble, you have few options to try, first is to find a hotel or  tiffin service which provide you food but the quality and quantity both are not satisfactory so you obviously can not depend on them for long. Option number 2 is to set up a kitchen in your flat, this option invite more trouble then anything so if you are ready to take it only then think of it else rule this option out. Thirdly you can look for some aunty in neighbourhood who can be of great help, but the probablity of finding such aunty is very less, so if you find it you are lucky.

Third problem is even more complex, that is to maintain good relationship with your neighbours, when they already have preconceived idea about bachelors, they are not welcome. They will do everything to stimulate you to make a wrong move and then they can pounce at you. So beware of your neighbours. The best way is to practice disipline and Gandhigiri.

I am sure you will not welcome any further trouble but as they say "There will be no mercy". You still have to do for what you are here, yes!!! Work. That is the only thing you enjoy as that pays.

After living this life for good 9 years, i decided to be back to where I started from, Agra. So moral of the story is "No mater how high you fly but the truth is you are tied to the ground".

Soon you realise better for you!!!
